Meet the people behind every placement
A team of 25+ counsellors, compliance officers, welfare specialists and employer-relations managers. Together we have placed over 70,000 Nepali workers in 28 countries.
Directors and heads of desk
Each leader brings deep specialist knowledge — legal, geographical and operational — built over years of hands-on work in the markets they manage.
Rajendra Shrestha
Rajendra founded GWN in 2000 after a decade managing Gulf manpower operations from Kathmandu. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and sits on the Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies (NAFEA) working group for ethical recruitment standards. He has personally overseen the placement of workers into over 20 countries.
Sunita Bajracharya
Sunita leads GWN's DOFE compliance architecture, demand-letter attestation, embassy coordination and welfare-fund administration. A former immigration lawyer, she has represented GWN workers in embassy-level contract disputes and has drafted GWN's model employment contract — used as a template by other agencies.
Bikash Gurung
Bikash built GWN's European channel from scratch in 2018, establishing direct partnerships with Polish, Romanian, Croatian, Czech, Maltese and Portuguese employers. He speaks conversational Polish and has spent time embedded with manufacturing clients in Wroclaw and Gdansk to understand the realities Nepali workers face on-site.
Deepika Rai
Deepika heads the Malaysia, South Korea EPS and Japan SSW programmes. She served as GWN's in-country welfare liaison in Kuala Lumpur for three years before returning to Kathmandu to lead the Asia desk. She is certified in Japanese Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) procedures and has overseen the placement of 2,000+ workers to Japan.
Prakash Karmacharya
Prakash manages day-to-day Gulf operations, covering UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. He is GAMCA-certified and has deep relationships with construction and hospitality employers across the Gulf Cooperation Council. He coordinates GWN's Wage Protection System (WPS) monitoring for all Gulf-deployed workers.
Manisha Tamang
Manisha runs GWN's 24/7 welfare desk, managing emergency WhatsApp escalations, contract disputes, repatriation assistance and post-return reintegration support. She has personally intervened in over 150 welfare cases, from withheld salaries to medical evacuations, and has co-authored GWN's Scam Awareness Guide for Nepali Workers.
The desks that move workers from interview to take-off
Behind every placement are specialists in counselling, compliance, medical logistics, welfare and employer relations — working together under one roof in Battishputali-9, Kathmandu.
Multilingual counsellors who match candidates to the right role, explain contract terms in plain Nepali, and set realistic expectations about destination countries. Each counsellor is assigned to a specific geography so their advice is authoritative.
DOFE pre-approval filings, demand-letter attestation, embassy paperwork, insurance registration and contract archiving. Every document for every placement is stored securely and retrievable for DOFE or FEPB audit.
GAMCA medical scheduling for Gulf-bound workers; country-specific clinic coordination for Europe and Asia. Trade-test centre liaison with CTEVT-approved facilities for welders, electricians, mechanics and masons.
24/7 WhatsApp welfare line for workers in 28 countries. Embassy escalation when needed. FEPB welfare-fund claims processing for accident, illness or death. Reintegration counselling and small-business advisory for returning workers.
Direct account management for 270+ employer clients. Demand-letter processing, employer KYC due diligence, MoU drafting, payment processing and ongoing relationship management. Annual employer audits for European and Asian accounts.
Website, social media, DOFE-approved vacancy publications and WhatsApp candidate pipelines. Ensures workers know about real, legal, GWN-approved vacancies before unlicensed agents can present them with fraudulent alternatives.
